Evidence of effectiveness

Results from a quasi-experimental study conducted in the 2024-2025 academic year (unpublished report written in 2026) supported the effectiveness of Global Game Changers Student Empowerment Program for public school students. This evaluation included 367 students in K-5th grade from one rural school in the U.S. Southeast region (94.7% White; 70.1% free or reduced-price lunch (FRPL)). The study found that students who participated in the program had significantly higher post-intervention leadership, emotional, and social skills scores relative to students in the comparison group while controlling for baseline pretest, gender, race, IEP, FRPL, age, absenteeism proportion.

How does Global Game Changers Student Empowerment Program support SEL implementation across multiple settings?

“Across settings, GGC helps children move from discovering their strengths and cultivating their social-emotional skills to using them in practice. Classroom lessons build confidence and leadership; assemblies and PD extend a strengths-based culture schoolwide; family videos and activity books bring learning home; and community partnerships turn learning into meaningful action through service.”
